Savory salisbury steak, your NEW family favorite!
Salisbury Steak: EASY & ECONOMICAL recipe for your family this is it!
- 1 lb ground round
- 1 organic egg beaten
- 1 c fresh sourdough bread torn into small pieces
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- dash of salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c merlot
Combine beef, egg, bread pieces, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper. Make into 4 flattened patties, pat with fine bread crumbs. Brown in buttered skillet. Combine soup & merlot and pour over steak cover & simmer 30-35 min.
Serve with mashed red skinned potatoes and steamed asparagus. Garnish with fresh parsley.
